Summer Jobs

The Norfolk Chamber Music Festival (NCMF) in Connecticut prepares talented students for rewarding/dynamic careers in the arts. For over 75-years, NCMF has advanced the field of chamber music through an immersive summer training program for emerging professional musicians and future arts administrators. As the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival recognizes that work experience plays a critical role in establishing a career, we actively look for the next generation of arts leaders – those who are motivated to work hard, be creative and find ways to nurture and further the arts in our culture.

Norfolk is looking for four ambitious, curious and motivated interns for next summer – students who want to build their skill set and gain the hands-on experience necessary to enter into a career in the arts. You’ll have the opportunity to work with internationally renowned artists and be part of the Yale School of Music. NCMF has an outstanding record of interns going on to successful careers in arts administration, academia and business.

Housing and Meals provided.

Recent summer interns have come to us from New York University, Wheaton College, University of South Florida, and McGill University. The standards and expectations for Fellows are high and with a small staff we meet those expectations every year. We have had many interns return for a second or third or fourth summer, and we are thrilled to see our interns go on to successful careers in Arts Management at outstanding organizations around the country.
