The Argus Quartet (Norfolk ’16) has been named The Juilliard School’s Graduate Quartet in Residence. The Quartet will coach with the Juilliard String Quartet and teach During Juilliard’s 2017-18 academic year.

The Jasper Spring Quartet (Nofolk ’07-’09) was awarded a 2014 Classical Commissioning Grant from Chamber Music America. The Quartet, together with The Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts, Carnegie Hall, Chamber Music Northwest, Chamber Music Monterey Bay, Classic Chamber Concerts and Wigmore Hall is commissioning Aaron Jay Kernis’ Third String Quartet.
