Piano Trio in d minor, Op 49
Piano Trio in d minor, Op 11
Octet for Strings, Op 20

Felix and Fanny Mendelssohn were very close siblings who were both supremely talented in music. While Fanny’s Piano Trio was finished in 1847 and only published after her death, Felix’s exuberant Octet for Strings was written at the tender age of 16 — and is one of the treasures of the chamber music repertoire.
